Word of Love Evangelistic Ministry was established in East York, Ontario, with a heartfelt calling to share the transformative message of God's love with individuals and families across the community. From our humble beginnings as a small group of devoted believers, we have grown into a vibrant ministry that touches lives both locally and beyond.
Founded on the biblical principle that "God is love" (1 John 4:8), our ministry has been steadfast in its commitment to evangelism, discipleship, and compassionate outreach. Over the years, we have witnessed countless lives transformed through the power of the Gospel, and we continue to grow and expand our reach as God opens new doors of opportunity.
Located at 368 Main Street in East York, we serve the diverse and dynamic communities of Toronto's east end, welcoming people from all walks of life into our family of faith.
Our calling and purpose as a ministry
To spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through evangelism and community service, conducting worship services, distributing biblical literature, and engaging in spiritual discussions to share the message of God's love. We seek to spiritually support the community and bring individuals to a saving knowledge of faith through preaching, teaching, and compassionate outreach.
To be a beacon of hope and love in East York and beyond, reaching every household with the transformative message of Jesus Christ. We envision a community where every individual has had the opportunity to hear the Gospel, experience God's love, and grow in a personal relationship with their Savior through faith, fellowship, and service.
